Hi how is everyone doing? My name is Jamie. I have been using the forum for a while now but only just took the plunge and decided to join.
I have owned my current GTI for just over a year covering around 12k of the most enjoyable miles. I absolutely love the car to bits having come from boring Audi oil burners the GTI is a breath of fresh air.
My car is tornado red and is running a few subtle mods. It's lowered on VWR springs running 15mm spacers on the front and 20mm on the rear. I have also fitted a forge boost pipe and pipercross panel filter. Would love to get a full exhaust system fitted next and more power but my history with cars is vast. I usually change cars every 18 to 24 months and something is pushing me towards a new RS3 or the new B9 S4.
I will try and get some pics up for you guys of the car soon as possible as I am rather ocd when it comes to keeping my cars clean. If you want to have a look at the car feel free to have a look at my Instagram profile (weenighty19).
Cheers Jamie

Welcome Jamie, had a quick look at the motor and it looks good. You certainly won't be the first to be a OCD with cleaning. I'm certainly part of that club.

Welcome, definitely get some pictures on here. Like the sound of the mods you've made already.

Offft remlapeel, that has a decent shine on it, I just cleaned my GTI and I thought I'd done not to badly but that puts mine to shame lol. Mine is white though so I have an excuse. What do you use? I used to use Gtechniq but I've decided I much prefer sonax products and they are cheaper
