I'm Mac
I just put my mk3 8v in the garage for a 1.8t 20v lump, tips and ideas would be much appreciated

Use a Mk3 TDI 'ASD' Code gearbox, mates up to 1.8Ts and handles the torque. Cable shift too. Use mk3 2.0 16v engine mounts, try to keep a cable-throttle engine and the Mk4 shifters in the cable-gearboxes are a good upgrade too :) q-peng for downpipes too i think.

If its an agu or ko3/ko3s turbod motor a downpipe is fairly easy to be made up. Ko4 downpipes are made in two sections normally.
If you need some bits let me know. As I was going to 20vt my mk2 but thought it a shame not to use my p n p 16v head on something.
