Looking to remap my mk6 GTI edition 35,has anyone got any advice on power/torque increases?
-
I had a re-map after fitting a turbo back Scorpion exhaust and Carboinio induction kit. +50 bhp from my stock 210bhp!
First time I've done it to one of my cars and would definitely recommend it. Way more responsive. I remember whipping a MK7 on my way home once over a dual carriage way. When he caught up at a roundabout near home I could see him looking at my car thinking wtf?? And I was like 'ahh yeahhh..'

60HP Eh...my 7 year old labrador has about the same output!

Hahaha quality

Edition 35 has the TFSI engine with K04, so a good tuning platform. With just a remap they make around 300bhp.
Front pipe, intake kit, High pressure fuel pump and you'll make 360bhp+.
Whats your location?
-
Are you sure it has the K04 turbo? I though it was the engine (EA113 - as used in the golf/scirocco R) that was the difference..
Just got a bit jealous though!
-
Yep the Edition 35 is the TFSI engine and K04.
Same engine as S3, Edition 30 and R.
-
Cool!

Just seen your ad Gaz-M (also on ebay while bedtime surfing earlier in the week) holy fk dude!!
I had my stage 2 at the weekend and am up to 271bhp/325nm, I bow down to thee..
Hope you get a good sale, car and spec look amazing.
-
Haha thanks mate.
Yeh its a bit of a weapon now. Ive had a quick S3 before so now a quick car to me is North of 350bhp! :)
Its only for sale at the full price and its obviously a small market to sell to, so its not to say it'll be going anywhere!!
Im still buying stuff for it and using it as if its not for sale!
-
Stop!! it's hard to draw a line in the sand isn't it.
I only went to stage 2 as I sold some gym equipment I wasn't using. Thought I'd invest it in the car. I find every time I get in it ' it m m makes me haappy'

Have you had an R yet? I'd be interested to hear how it compares to the S3. 2 move years to pay off the GTI and then hopefully the MK7 R will be within my price range..
-
Not had an R and I wouldnt want one, they are everywhere on the roads due to the lease deals they were doing!
Sold the S3 as i didnt like the Quattro/Haldex 4wd system, so I wouldnt want an R as its also Haldex 4wd!

Huh the dog has 60bhp in normal mode rising to at least 70bhp when food time is near and then once all gone there's a definite drop off in power!
