Hi all

Firstly mods feel free to move this to a more appropriate section if necessary.

A friend of a friend has a R plate VR6 Vento that he's thinking of selling. I saw it today and it's an absolute minter.

One owner from new
30k miles
Dark metallic red
Cloth interior, unmarked!
Auto

The only thing that was showing signs of age was the centre caps, but that's only £10 fix.

I said that I might know a few people that might be able to give an honest opinion of what it's worth? He has a feel for what the book value is but is hoping that he might be able to get a bit more if an enthusiast might be interested.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to get any photos but I couldn't believe how clean it was!

Without seeing it in person i would guess at around 750 to 1500 but you can take that with a pinch as i know nothing about them  :smiley:

If it were a Golf VR6 Highline though................. :whistle:

Being a slush box doesn't help the value.

Yeah I mentioned to him that the Auto box might be an issue.

Doesn't the Vento only come in a 4dr saloon?

Thanks for that. In terms of standard there is absolutely no comparison. That's a dog compared to this one.

I missed it was a vento....

Ventos are getting rare but not massively sort after. £1500 I'd say.
