Can anyone help,

I have a golf tdi gt pd & the rear wind screen washer has stopped working but front is working fine, anyone know if they are connected or separate or connected or where it is??

They use the same bottle from under the bonnet. The water will still be pumping chances are it's broken inside the tail gate and every time you pull the trigger the boot is filling up.
