Title: RNS510 Without Nav
Post by: Pioneer Performance on 29 September 2015, 16:42
Going to look at another mk6 this weekend, however this one has a RNS510, but doesn't appear to have Navigation. It only has 3 buttons either side vs the regular 4.

Is this common ? I cant see the point in having the system without Nav, or does this mean its an aftermarket system ?

That is the RCD-510. If it has DAB (it will have a button with DAB written on it) it's the better version but the non DaB is just as good.

Sure does. The RNS510 is very easily retro fitted tho'.

Be happy it's an RCD and not RNS, latter are popular with 'fell of a golf' type ebay resellers.
