Title: Mk2 Gti stutter

My Mk2 seems to be abit stuttery between 2,000 and 3,000 revs but then clears,does anyone know what this could be?? I'm new to the golf scene and would appreciate any pointers to help with this. Cheers

Check all your vacuum hoses and the air intake pipe from the airbox to the engine. A fault in these can produce some interesting effects.
