Hi all,
Just a quick review of the Cabrio since the engine change, I've done 500 odd miles since, and all had been great...until Friday, when on the way to work at 2:50am, a coolant pipe split, spraying coolant all over the exhaust and engine, steam everywhere!! It looked pretty dramatic lol.
At the time I hadn't realised it was the pipe, so I parked it up had a quick look and left it until I had finished.
Luckily I work near Trents Scrap yard in Poole,so quick trip up there, for a 2nd hand pipe, and new coolant replacement and I was on my way again..
Averaging 34.6 MPG over the 411miles since last Sunday
It's all going well.

Still lots to do, it's coming back off the road soon, MOT runs out on 23rd October, seems ideal time to do winter maintenance on it,
Service,
windscreen has a crack in it,
Rear 5/100 conversion
Tracking
Good engineclean and engine bay clean, should of done this before he engine went in really, but I was on a time limit to get the engine in before the hoist went back to HSS
But despite a few set backs, I've enjoyed every minute of it..
