Title: Main Dealer Excels
Post by: Optimus prime on 25 September 2015, 11:34
All,

As some already know I had an issue with my Nav that took 3 small trips to my main dealer to find and fix with a warranty cost of over £5K hence the 3 small visits to prove that they were on the right track.

The nav is fixed & yesterday I received an email thanking me for my patience from the dealership & advising that they had arranged for £50 in Itunes vouchers to be available for me for collection as a way of saying thank you

So all I can say is well done Chelmsford VW, excellent service

Very nice of them. It's the little touches that make you go back

Well done for speaking up for good service - its only ever the bad stuff people write about on here and elsewhere.

Very good of them!

Have to say Lookers Teesside looked after me after my car was delivered as a swirly mess; they paid all the fees on my reg transfer and brimmed the tank with Diesel.

It's good to see some positive feedback and I'm sure the dealership will appreciate it too.

£5k is an awful lot of work too. I appreciate labour isn't cheap but have you any idea of what was performed. Being pretty tech savvy as you are I'm sure you asked!

Credit where credit is due both the dealership and the master tech were excellent considering it was an intermittent fault I guess they could of dragged there heels epically as the part alone was £5k with 2 hrs labour to fit and code.

The part that was replaced was the whole brain so to speak i.e the complete unit in the glovebox with the sd slots and the internal ssd.
