Title: changing the auxiliary belt
Post by: Scottymk4 on 21 September 2015, 15:17
I am getting a creaking noise when going from lock to lock and someone mentioned could be a worn aux belt...how hard is it to change this belt ?

Have you checked the power steering fluid? Never heard of a belt making a creak unless the pulleys shot

yeah the fluid is fine, got the rack changed a couple of months ago too. I didn't think it would be the belt to be honest although it does lok a bit worn so will change anyway...what else could it be a the creak is there when the car is  moving or not.
