Title: iOS 9 apple music
Post by: Mk608841 on 15 September 2015, 22:02
Just ordered a new GTD with app connect. It's my understanding that a iPhone with the new ios9 update will work wirelessly with the discovery nav but does anyone know if Apple Music (streaming) will work as well?

I use Apple music in my R with the standard CMS. Works flawlessly, streams fine, you can change tracks by the wheel and album art is all there.

So does this mean that Apple CarPlay can now be done wirelessly? I've just picked my Golf up with the MIB11 and CarPlay kicks in immediately when I connect my iPhone via the lightning cable. Will it now work wirelessly instead as I have IOS9 installed?
