Title: HELP - golf mk 4 wont start
Post by: calvi.b on 10 September 2015, 20:52
I was installing a sub to my golf I didn't connect it fully because I was about too connect it too the battery but didn't have the right socket to disconnect the battery . so I went to start my car and nothing happened no light on my dash and it doesn't even tick over also my windows don't work plus my stereo doesn't come on. I can only lock my car by putting the key in not with the button on my key but my head lights come on, indicators work and so do my window wipers. it has a cobra immobiliser fitted too it as well can any one help me out.

You probably blew a few fuses with your operation..... 10mm spanner to undo battery terminal, there is even one in the tool set in the boot ;)
