Title: Wiring av headunit
Post by: GazB on 23 September 2005, 21:45: On the AV headunit that i have there is a wire that needs to be connected to the handbrake switch.
Is it nessesary to connect this for the unit to work and if yes, how dificult is it to find the positive handbrake switch wire :undecided:

Post by: S11EPS on 26 September 2005, 12:44: I have the Pioneer DVD/Screen head unit also. Have had it for a couple of years now.

Mine has been wired for 'always on' performance - in fact this very morning I travelled to work accompanied by series 5 of the simpsons.

Connect the cable that should go to the handbrake into your Earth circuit, and you'll be cool and the gang.

It's a Pioneer AVH-P7300DVD with AV master P9000 with 5.1 Prologic etc....This unit is a REGION one unit (USA)

Post by: Mark_H on 28 September 2005, 12:28: Yes, it only plays USA DVD's but you can add another DVD player through the AV Master. I had a Pioneer 6 Disc DVD Autochanger. :smiley:
