I have recently just bought a mk6 gti and it has tilting mirrors when I select reverse (dsg) the mirrors are supose to tilt to see the curb but don't the passenger side moves a little. Any ideas cheers

Set mirror adjustment knob to L - engage reverse, set the mirror lower so you can see curb.
Then put back into drive and drive a little forward so mirror goes back up again. Then put it into R again, should go back to the same position now. If it still does nothing check coding in the door control module.
On another note, punctuation marks are what make texts readable. Took me 3 attempts to read what you 'wrote'.

Thanks for the replay I'll try that, but am not in an English exam lol if I was obviously I would fail

Is tilting mirrors an optional extra?

Luxury Pack.

It's the one extra I wish I had!

Pretty easy to retrofit, which i did :)

What was the cost? Been putting all my money on performance at the mo.

In the end it was around £300 but that was only because i bought the wrong passenger side door mirror without dip on reverse. if i hadn't made the mistake i could have reduced the cost to circa £200 easily.
