Has it rained yet???? How are you fiding the Conti 5's so far? Did you put them on the front or back? I'm looking for a new pair of fronts and am thinking these or the Michelins (PS3). We have an F1 auto nationwide close by - I've never used them before but this is a great price - did they look after your rims ok?
cheers

I recently had a pair fitted to the front of my Gti to replace the factory CS2s. Tyres are great, just as good as the CS2s. I bought the'Audi' fit version as they were on offer. I'd forgotten how stiff new tyres are so have been running in comfort mode on the dcc.

They are fantastic in wet...strangely the car feels lighter with more grip
fitted to front only
Not a mark on rims and made them aware of polished rims on GTI

I've got 4 on mine and they are fantastic in the wet.

They have just featured in Evo and won the 2015 Summer tyres. Worth a read and all tyres happened to be tested on a GTI PP 225/40/18.

The only issue I've got is the lack of kerb ring.
