Title: mk3 16v no dash warning lights

i've got no dash warning lights on the car, everything else about the cluster works fine, any ideas?

That's good isn't it, or are you expecting problems to show?

Do they initially show up when you turn the ignition on?

Did you just buy car?

Maybe it has issues and someone has just taken bulbs out?

Nah it's not new purchase , I've had an issue with the hand brake light not working and it just seems to have spread to all the other warning lights .

Nah the warning lights flicker when I switch the car off or I flick the light switch on off , had the fuse box down but couldn't see any loose connections .

What's the best way to test for a short ?

Ignition switch,bad switch or loose/poor connector ?.Loose plug on back of clocks ?.
