Title: Noise when Turning
Post by: rileym on 24 August 2015, 15:02
Hi,

Hoping someone may be able to help me with this!

I have a problem that when I turn Right I get a very loud whirring type noise from the front - almost sounds like rubbing metal, which gets louder under acceleration.

It also has an effect on the steering wheel - It tries to kick back.

I took the car for a drive yesterday and it has just started doing the exact same thing turning the other way as well.

I took it to my local garage to have a look, there was no obvious signs when looking and there was no play in the wheel (thought it could have been a bearing).

Im no lost as to what it could be and its driving me mad!

Below is a video - You can just about hear it through the wind.

Any help would be massively appreciated!

Sounds like a front wheel bearing.
