Title: Cleaning a Revo/Pipercross open intake
Post by: remlapeel on 24 August 2015, 10:36
Hi guys, I have an open intake (Pipercross) on my R and the air filter has now done around 10k miles between the GTI and my R and I was wondering how I clean the filter. I touched it yesterday whilst altering the DTUK map settings and my hand wax covered in black dirt.....not good.

I dont just want to throw fairy liiquid on it as I suspect there is a proper way of cleaning.

It being covered in dirt at least shows it's doing the job :)
