Hi guys, I'm new here and need advise, I have a 1995 vr6 that blew the motor, I then went and bought another engine but before i bought it I never knew there were two types being odb1 and odb2, only found out after buying. Now my original engine was odb1 and the engine I bought is odb2, I discovered this when fitting the engine. Everything fits just fine except I had to use the manifold from the odb1 for the pipes and all.
The car starts and sounds great but my problem is the idling just sits at 1000rpm even after it warms up the refs just stay at 1000rpm. My question is, Is this normal or am I loosing air somewhere. Please advise guys. Thanks
