Title: Problem starting engine

Hi everyone,
I have a 52 plate golf and have been having problem with ignition, car also seems to judder and this appears to be particularly near gear box. Judders when trying to start and when stationary at lights ect. When struggling to start approx one in ten times it eventually starts once reved and foot held on accelorator.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

So anyone can help you we need more details about car.
Mileage, what engine code, manual or auto... when was is last serviced. What fault codes does it throw up (if it does).... Any lights on dash when it cuts out?
