Please could someone with a glass room check their car for me?
Autoglass have been out 6 times now to replace mine. Mine has a tiny piece of trim between the windscreen and the glass roof panel. Please could someone look at theirs and see if their car has the same?
Thanks for your help.

Photo would help so that we can see what you are referring to....?
-
I think the OP is referring to the panoramic sunroof?
-
Yes, it is a mk7 GTi with panoramic sunroof. There is a very thin plastic trim between the windscreen and the glass roof panel.
I've got a picture but can't see how to insert it....

Thanks for that. Please forgive the dirty car, but this should show the bit I mean

Yup, mine has that. :afro:

Why have they had to do it 6 times anyway??
-
Looks like the trim is coming off.

Thanks for all the replies. Apologies for not coming back sooner but I have been away.
They think they have ordered all the correct parts now and are coming out for visit number 7 later this week!
Why so many?
1. Turned up with pattern glass, didn't want to fit it due to the trim bit at the top
2. Turned up with exactly the same as number 1, after they had ordered a new roof panel instead!
3. As number 1. They now think the part is obsolete (on an 18 month old car)
4. Cancelled on the day - 'sickness'
5. Cancelled on the day - 'bereavement'
6. Actually managed to turn up with a OEM windscreen, but still without the trim.
Lucky number 7????
