Title: Carbonio
Post by: Dalo Harkin on 04 August 2015, 08:35
Anyone running a Carbonio all year round?
It does look very hidden in the bumper so I doubt any water would splash up but I will be avoiding massive puddles!

Not a fan....

Had one for a couple of years and the filter got dirty within months. No gains after back to back MAF logging with open cone.

Piece of mind not having to worry about hydrolocking either

well here is the dilemma, I was running the pipercross panel filter in the standard airbox with the DSG mods and I did prefer it but the TIP seems to be slightly bent in the middle when I use airbox which would obviously restrict flow.
I think I'm just going to go back to the airbox and try and sort a new TIP ( I remember how much of a nightmare it was to fit so not on any rush )

If your sorting a new TIP go for a supersize, they are a ball ache to fit but worth the hassle and fit with standard air box.

only took an hour second time fitting one

trick is to bend the coolant pipe slightly, still a biatch to fit though
