Hi
I'm just wondering what the average oil temp the GTI MK7 Owners are seeing?
Mine quite often see between 105 deg to 109 deg. This is a mixture of motorway and town.
Seem to remember my stage 1 Mk6 never went above 102 but it did have millers nano tech in.
Ps mine has DTUK tuning box.

Mines very similar and, although I have a Revo Stage 2, I haven't noticed any increase in the oil or water temp

105 is the approx mine sits at.
Mine was showing 111 after a hoon across country B roads at 7am last week, so i wouldn't worry as long as the car manages the temps and keep them constant, then reduces them when flow increases and you slow down from sprinting, or get moving. Flash point for the oil is waaay higher anyway so will be fine.

My R is usually sitting at 102C when warm. My GTD used to get up to 116C when given a real workout, until it had its first service and the software was updated, resulting in my mpg dropping 10% and the oil never getting above 104C.

It sat at about 103 on way home on a 20 mile motorway route so not too worried.

My R sits around 102-103, can hit 110 if smashing it but comes back down quickly

My diesel is normally around 97-105, depends on speed (50-80mph). If I really go for it, e.g. on a 2 mile climb near broadway tower where it just does not see under 3k rpm and full throttle only for a short sharp steps on the brakes it goes to 115-120.
