Title: Racetubes

Hi guys, I was just wondering how much of a difference a racetube makes. I've just put on a brand new 3" sportex backbox on and would like it a bit louder. Do they effect emmsions much?

I don't know about the  emmsions  but it dose make it loud
this is my sportex I did have a race pipe on it made it too loud

had to put this wasp silencer on to quieten it down a bit

it still sounds good but I have a decat on

I had one on my Leon Cupra with a standard exhaust and it made it a tiny bit louder but not much. Bear in mind these race tubes are just centre pipes found on diesels, mine was like £12 from my local motor factors.
