Title: Current lead time?
Post by: cheechm on 11 July 2015, 18:21: What's the current lead time for GTDs? It's a lease car and the lease company have said delivery in Mid-October. The tracking number says the order has been sent to the factory. Presumably it won't be any sooner? I had spoken to a dealer a few weeks ago who said the lead time for new orders was 6 months?!?!

I ordered mine Jan 28th...its being built next week so by the time it arrives at the dealer it will possibly be a 28/29 Week delivery

I ordered mine on May29th and it arrived in the UK yesterday so that could be less than 10 weeks from order to pick-up with a bit of luck.

Could be anything mate,

Mine was "with the factory" from Jan until it got planned for production on 16th June.

Although, others on here have ordered in May and are getting the same delivery schedule as me. Its the luck of the draw mate

Ive just ordered a Golf GTD NAv 5 door on personal lease and being told end of September / October for a stock car in black . ive never driven a Gold before and cant say ive even seen a GTD Mk7 and have gone completely blind. It was such a good personal lease dal I couldn't resist just hope its a great car :). I do hope the stock speakers arnt to bad and I don't regret not specking the Dynaudio but could justify £20 a month extra.

Ordered my GTD 30th June (Scottish dealer). Build week just confirmed for 28th Sept.
