Title: 16v Kr motor vs the G60 Motor

I have a golf 1 gti and i like to know, wich motor can i get the more horsepower? the g60 motor with the compressor worked, plus cams, etc or the 16v kr with turbo or the g60 compressor worked?

i have read that you can get stupid horse power from a blown 16v engine, the germans like to go down that route!  :grin:

The G-Ladder is the restriction on the G60 engine whereas with the 16vt, you will be able to go as high as a K26 without having clearance problem between the engine and bulkhead.

By the way, a K26 turbo is the same turbo Audi used in the UR Quattro and Porsche used in the 911 964 turbo. :wink:
