Title: Specification of engine oil for Golf MK5 GTI

Hi all,

I would like to know what is the specification of the engine oil should be used in this new GTI?
Should 10W60 OK?

Tells you in the manual what spec it is, not sure off the top of my head. It also depends on how it has been set up for servicing, if it is on long life service intervals the spec for the oil is different and it is important that the correct spec is used.
