Title: Bend Light issues
Post by: Misterp on 26 June 2015, 09:40
as the title suggests I have just replaced one of my Dynamic bend light for the 4th time. Initially I replaced the stock bulbs with the Osram nightbreakers (H7) then the second time replaced them with the Philips Xtreme vision. it cant be right that I have to replace atleast one every 6 months or is that the life span.

anyone else had this issue.

H7 and dynamic bending lights?
Think you mean the static cornering lights.... Nightbreakers et al are brighter because the filament gets hotter than other H7 bulbs, resulting in shorter life.
How many hours do you get out of them?

I think another thing which may shorten the life is the constant turning on/off.

I had Osram Nightbreaker Plus in my GTD from day 1 until it was swapped for the R - 20 months and still going strong. Am I lucky or do some people have some electrical surge issues?

I though that I was alone with a power surge
