Title: Skoda Citigo - Mini Detail
Post by: seabrook132 on 25 June 2015, 15:57
My sister has had this Citigo Sport for just under a month now and thought I'd give it a spruce up while she unpacked all her uni stuff. Really like these, awesome looking car and much better than the Jazz she had before.

Wheels were decontaminated with Dodo Juice Ferrous Dueller first then washed with Born To Be Mild, Wheel Woolies and a WoWo Wheel Mitt. Paintwork was nice and free of contiminants (standard of dealer prep was pretty good) so was given a TBM wash with Born To Be Mild and a WoWo Wash Mitt, washing and drying a panel at a time to deal with the direct sunlight. Finished off with Sonax BSD, Car Pro Eraser and WoWo Glass Cloth on the windows and Zaino Z16 on tyres.

Really nice job Dan, bet your sis is pleased

Direct sunlight is a total pain when washing abd drying.  In summer it's a constant battle for me and the one panel at a time approach is the only way to avoid water marks.

It sure is, thought you'd bought one of those water filters? Does that not help?

Sunshine when washing is bad....but you want the sun to be out when you're finished to make it extra shiny!

Looks a good job to me.

It might if I had one.  Haven't got round to it yet, they are not particularly cheap:

Or

And I spent the money on a Metro Vac Sidekick instead     Still on the massive detailing wish list though

Ah right, my mistake then. I remember that you were interested in them. Not cheap for sure!

Looks great Dan, loving the fact that wowo is well used here too!
