Title: Mud flaps
Post by: danpen1306 on 22 June 2015, 20:33
Hi,

Just had the OEM mud flaps removed from my 2012 GTD.

Does anyone know how much these sell for? I have no need for them so was gonna sell them on this site.

Thanks in advance

Dan

I might be interested in these at the right price. New ones are £100, I'd be looking at around £35 second hand and 3 yrs old. Non gtd ones are around £50 new. Shows how we get ripped off having a gtd.

Hi mate,

I'd be happy to sell these to you for £35 posted. I'll send you some pics of them tomorrow once I have the car back from the body shop if you re really interested.

I'm interested, I've no idea what they go for, but I think £35 is fair. Send some pictures across and I'll let you know definitely if they are for me. I've been looking for some for a while though.

Am considering mudflaps for my MK6 GTD - would be interested to hear how you got on with them and if they do a decent job of keeping the car any cleaner!

What colour is your car you are fitting them too?

Starfox I can honestly say my white GTD car seems to get dirtier allot quicker now that I don't have the mud flaps on, mainly on the driver and passenger doors. I haven't noticed much difference at the back end though

Interesting - can I ask why you removed them?

I just don't think they suit a candy white golf. They look ok on the darker colours. They seemed to stand out like a sore thumb on mine
