Title: DTUK FSR+ First Impressions..
Post by: Olifran on 22 June 2015, 12:22
Very good

Got a great discount from Andrew and delivered promptly. Quickly lashed it in on friday night and went for a burn on Map 1. Well I was  from ear to ear on the country roads!!

I then asked Andy about the different maps. All maps have the same power but each map delivers it differently. Map 3 most progressive to Map 1 most aggressive. Currently working my way backward from Map 3 +2 on Andy's recommendation to try all 3 maps at +2.

Would be interested to hear what others are running? i plan to have a before and after dyno in the not too distant.

Hmm I like the sound of this. I also have a Non-PP car. Could be bad news for the old wallet...

Ah I see, mobile version doesn't show sigs, or at least they don't on an iPhone

The newer units have newer maps in them that have been tweaked to get a better/quicker response.
Been trying map 2 +2 and think at higher revs when changing up there is a slight pause before getting back on the boost.

The fact I have a pedal box and the tuning box both with multiple maps mean the combinations go on forever.

Would love to here what other FSR users are running.

I need to buy one of these as the gtd power feels quite tame after owning it for a month!

Was it easy to fit?

I'm the least mechanically able person in the world and I managed to fit it in 10 minutes. It really is simple.

Totally transforms the car too.
