its a personal thing really. but 40mm is a good compromise. look for pics of mk4 lowered 40mm and then you can decide.

Just a heads up. I only went 35mm I think. An I still needed to get a tt anti roll bar. Just a heads up lol

35/40mm isn't much of a drop really, you'll get rid of a little bit of arch gap but it won't be 'slammed'.

this is mine lowerd  and still have standard arb  with black series poly bush top mounts
