Title: VRS alloys on Mk4?
Post by: YBTurbo on 20 June 2015, 22:30
Hi,

Bought a set of Fabia VRS alloys earlier,
Same as these,
(http://www.stevejwilliams.f2s.com/alloys1.jpg)

There 16x65J ET37, Assume these are a direct fit but what size tyres will be correct? There's 205/45R16 on them now. My car is a standard 3-Door currently with 15" Avus II with 195/65R15

I also assume my existing studs are okay to use.

Anyone have pics of the same VRS on a Mk4?

I think those tyre sizes are the standard Montreal sizes anyway so you'll be fine

When i read the title of this thread i was assuming you were referring to the 17'' VRS Octavia wheels which are commonly used on the mk4, i'm considering a set for my wagon as it happens.

For the 16'' version like you have the tyres should ideally be 205/55/16 as per fitted to the BBS Montreal2 wheels so you will find that the odometer will read over slightly along with a touch more arch gap and reduced ride height.

Did you work out which bolts you need?
