As per title, whats your take on it?

He sounds quite clear to me. He is going to attempt to host the exact same show (with the same daft challenges etc) but with a different line up. I don't see it working.
It might have worked if he had changed the format and gone back to testing everyday cars and all that old school top gear jazz, but using the Clarkson formula without Clarkson, wont work.
That, and I find Chris Evans, dull and annoying.

I think it was due a refresh. I'd started losing interest in it. I hope they do a few more realistic car reviews. I don't mind CE and he does genuinely love cars and isn't the type to just stick them in a garage - he likes to get them out and drive them.

As it stands today, TG being an severely dumbed down mainstream entertainment show. Chris Evans was made for the role. If they wanted a proper car show they would have attempted to lure back Tiff Needell.
More logical than bloomin' Guy Martin that some of these idiots were harping on about as JC's replacement. They musn't have figured TG out yet.

I personally can't stand Evans, he's an annoying bell end.
Only way I can see it working is if they get some really decent co hosts.

it seems like nail in coffin
