Title: Clutch
Post by: Snooze on 16 June 2015, 19:58
My clutch biting point is starting to get on my nerves and Im keen to hear if anyone else has had a similar problem? Basically the biting point is very high and it's quite tricky to change gear smoothly, especially when shifting up and down to 2nd. Should I be taking my car back to the stealer?

Mine's always been high I think it's just a characteristic. I have fitted one of thesehttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-AUDI-PERFORMANCE-CLUTCH-STOP-GOLF-MKVI-6-GTI-R-SCIROCCO-SEAT-LEON-A3-S3-TT-/331207149596?hash=item4d1d7c081c (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-AUDI-PERFORMANCE-CLUTCH-STOP-GOLF-MKVI-6-GTI-R-SCIROCCO-SEAT-LEON-A3-S3-TT-/331207149596?hash=item4d1d7c081c) and it has improved the gear change i.e quicker and more precise.
