Title: Back to the VeeDub fold

So I've been thinking about coming back to vag in some capacity or another so I've taken the plunge and ordered a 3dr DSG R in Tornado Red, with a few toys.

I had wanted to wait for the Clubsport or 400 but with all of the uncertainty I thought I'd stock with the R.

Can't wait to get back into a Golf and hoping that the 21 week lead time isn't too ridiculous, perhaps a nice Xmas present!!!

The return of Ginge35Edition may be upon us, or perhaps a new name of GingeR?

Anyway, as usual all comments are welcomed and before I say it pic whoring is a favourite past time!!!

21 week lead time!  You'll probably get yours before I get mine  :cry:  :grin:

You won't be disappointed. I have put around 3k miles on my R now, and all I can say is fantastic. Massive shift from the Mark 6 IMO. Pace, sound and looks.

Love the suggestion of the name, got to do it!!!!!!!!!

Will be ordering another mitt so keep your eye out for an order (neighbours birthday), and based on my experience there is no better product.

By the time you get your R, with VWs current lead times, the facelifted R400 will be out haha!
