Hi Guys
Been browsing this forum for a while and just picked up my GTI today. Loving it so far, the only issue being my iPhone 5c wont connect via bluetooth. The car detects the phone but then says the phone is incompatible. From reading on here and other places I think this is due to the bluetooth module under the drivers seat. My current module is 5N0 035 730 C and I have the RNS510 stereo.
Could any one let me know which module I need to get the phone to pair and also have access to my phone book via the RNS510?
Thanks for your help!

I have in conjunction with a RNS510 (DAB) i have 5K0035730B and it connects to me iPhone 6 okay. Tried with a 7P6 Rev D and it wouldn't connect.

Strange. Not sure what the difference the first three digits on the product code mean. Maybe I should try again in the morning before spending any cash on a new module!

Try deleting all pairings in the phone and the car and then try again

I have recently added bluetooth to my car and it works perfectly with my iPhone 6. The bluetooth module I used was a 7P6035730j bargain off eBay!

I went ahead and purchased a 5K0 035 730 D module from eBay. It works perfectly with full control thought the RNS 510 including phone book access. No need for and coding, just plug and play. Bluetooth media streaming also works.
My old unit had a purple bluetooth antenna connection but this was not needed with the new module as it has the antenna built in. I just taped this up and left it tucked away under the seat.
Thanks for all your suggestions.
