Has anyone encountered this?
My AUQ has a slight knocking sound at idle, but only at idle, if the AC is turned on or I Rev a little it goes away, also the idle is a bit rough, I don't wanna drive it while it's like this and no EML is on

I have a bit of a rapid bap bap bap caused by the bearing on my power sterring pump going, which im gonna sort this week, but start car, stick head under the car you should see the abs pump spining now look down through to the same place and see if u can see all of the accesory belt and make sure all the pullys are ok?
-
I'm not sure what to check for tbh, the belt squeaks a bit and I've got a spare in the boot, the tensioner I think it's rattling, not 100% sure if that's the issue but would that cause rough idle?
-
No dont think any of the accesories would cause a rough idle, Rough idle could be the maf, dirty throttle body, or your cam belt stretched? when was the cam belt last done?
-
I looked at the MAF today and it's spotless, I could be MAF, but surely a faulty MAF doesn't cause a slight knocking does it?
And it could possibly be the belt, when I took the plastic cover off the belt doesn't even sit on the cam pulley fully, meaning you can see the teeth towards the engine

Get that Cambelt Changed ASAP!
It sounds like its stretched if that falls off or Stretches further and your pumping high revs at the time you can say bye bye to the engine!
