100 days, you have been lucky there! 246 for mine, all forgotten when it's here.

I have a photo which I will upload later, they have managed to get the number plate wrong somehow glad I noticed it. I mean how hard is it to get 5 numbers and letters round the correct way?

As long as my free tank of diesel is in it everything will be fine. Hoping it doesn't have bridgestones due to the negative posts on here but the car I had on a test drive had them and I didn't notice any issues.
Just got a cracking insurance quote as well so everything is going well so far.

What price did you get for the insurance?

If you don't me asking

£205 with Esure, that's with £45 off through quidco. I don't drive many miles a year probably 6000-7000 and the car isn't going in the garage.
Would have been cheaper if my wife didn't get caught for driving while on the phone last year

I paid £429 for my GTI that's with adding my girlfriend on who is only a baby at 22 (I'm 27). I didn't think that was too bad. £205 is awesome!!!

I thought so as well. It's £100 a year cheaper than my 6 year old 3 series, I am 35 & my wife is 31.
I am also saving £3 a month on the payments as they have somehow went down since I ordered in February so everything is going very well so far.

Looks like I won't be getting my car tomorrow after all. Got a call at ten to five today saying that they were unable to tax the car because the private reg nominee form hadn't been sent to the dvla.
I handed the form into the dealers on the 17th of May and it's still there just now. Told the guy that it wasn't my problem it was theirs and they would have to do something pronto.
Was told that they will phone me in the morning after they try and get someone from vw finance to change the plates on the car to normal ones until they can get the correct documents from the dvla but it's highly unlikely that I would be able to get this done tomorrow as only so many staff work at vw finance on a Saturday and the fleet dept is closed. If this fails they are going to supply me with a courtesy car at their expense.
I wouldn't mind so much but I asked the fleet manager 2 weeks ago about the plate transfer and was told that they just do this on the day before pickup.
He better not be there when I go through tomorrow or I will end up in court Monday morning. Absolutely raging with them.
What sort of compensation should I be asking for?
