Can anyone help please I have a May 62 plate Gti bought from new full service history display showing service overdue just done 3000 miles kept in garage spoke to local stealer says major service due can anyone give me a detailed list of what is required and parts also cost

Its all listed in the service book.
There are two types of service setting on the car
time & distance (10,000 miles or 12 month period which ever comes first)
or
longlife (measures all quality and could be every two years depending o  useage)

62-plate should have had at least one service by now! Regardless of how low the mileage is they need a service once every 2-years absolute minimum.

^^ Yep.  My '62 plate is on Time and Distance service (every 10k mikes or 12 months whichever is sooner), and is just coming up to it's 3rd service in next couple months (@28k miles).
