Title: fans run as soon as i start engine

hello, just picked a 2003 golf mk4 GTI 1.8 20v turbo AUQ engine 180 BHP, when I start the engine the fans start with in 5 seconds, a quick scan said temp sender down so fitted a new one cleared the errors and it still does it also when driving from time to time it seams like a miss fire like the engine misses for a split second, checked with scan again no errors any ideas out there

ask vw if your coil packs were under the recall they had that might clear the misfire  :smiley:
