Sorry i bet this has been talked about a million times but i can't find a definite answer anywhere, my sai makes a noice on start up, ive drilled the rivets out, tiger sealed it and bolted it together but still does it, can i just blank it off without doing the n249 delete etc, not worried about eml light coming on just want to get rid of the annoying noice all help appreciated thanks

Just unplug the little loom to the pump, noise gone just hav to reset the code.you can trick it with a resistor kit iv seen on the bay.
-
just delete it, it makes so much more room and gets rid of loads of piping
-
Ok i really want to get rid of it but not sure if i cant delete it without removing anything else, so if i buy a blanking plate i should be ok??

You'll need the blanking plate, resistor to trick the ecu, and mine also needed the Sai faults coded/mapped out the ecu.
Its a few hours work to strip it all out. Make sure you remove the hard lines at same time, don't try remove them later... :/

You shouldn't get the faults with the resistor in place.
Its a simple enough job, I did it a while ago with a guide off Vortex I think, just check and then double check before you start chopping into pipes

Resistor in place you still may get the "Improper flow" CEL light on dash. I did and had to get it coded out the ECU ;)
