Title: Best thing to stick gti arches on with?
Post by: savage1989 on 27 May 2015, 19:58
Hello. I've took my gti arches off to get rid of the rust. I've sanded them down because luckily they wasn't that bad just surface rust. But I just wondered what the best thing was to use to stick them back on with. Also where can I find my paint code? Thanks.

Paintcode: On the sticker under the carpet in the trunk.

Like this:

I used thick undercoat. Painted the poprivets with epoxy primer and let them dry before i put them in. It will become a tight seal between plastic and metal.

Word of warning, wear gloves. If you get this stuff on your fingers it's a pain to get off.Dries quick too.Use petrol to get it off anything you did'nt want it on,try NOT to do that though !!!
