Post by: VWhitehawk on 25 May 2015, 19:02
Just wondering does anyone know the VAG part number for these, as i'm looking to upgrade from the standard bulbs and all the non OEM ones i have seen are to bright especially against the white of the car.

Cheers for the help in advance

Hi Snoopy, I've just bought a Mk6 GTi and having the problem of LED number plate lights causing warning.

Theyre genuine and the bit coding on VCDS was available and ive done it, the 2 parts- ive forgot what they are exactly now (cold lighting or something) were both there and have edited them.

Still get a warning! So frustrating!

Ive just fitted LED tailights and they coded and got rid of faults no problem.

How do i know if the problem is my BCM? What revisions accept the coding?

Thanks, hope you can help!!
