Hi all. Had posted this in another section, but was suggested I posted it here instead  :)

Just bought myself a Golf, and wanted to change the wheels that are on it to OEM.

I reckon theses are likely Japan replicas (JWL/VIA on the back). I was going to pick them up tonight, but looking for some advice on whether a good or bad idea.

 Many thanks

Many thanks - and hello all!

No  they are not. They aren't stamped on the reverse with a VW part number.

				Welcome Nor

As you've seen from the link I posted in the other section they are replicas, very similar to the reps in the pic, with a wider rim/edge, slightly different colour and importantly no genuine VW stamp.  Plus they look in a terrible state.  I'd steer clear of them.

 Btw, car looks great

Car looks immense on the current rims!

I love the Flashpoint wheels! I was gutted when VWR stopped making the same style wheels as i'd have loved a set on my mk6 at the time. :'(

Love the black rims NOR. They really work on the car. I also imagine they are a lot lighter than Monzas, which seem very heavy.
