Title: AMU dipstick guide problem!!!

my old guide had snapped, apparently this is a common problem? have removed it and tried to git a new one but i dont think it has seated all the way down as getting no reading on the dip stick,, any help would be appreciated!

need to give it a good hard push down, i just laid my hand in top of it and shifted my body weight to it. should hear it click into place

and clean your oil pickup pipe , as the broken pieces of the old one will block it up good.
