Title: 15mm spacers up front?
Post by: Mr_Orange on 15 May 2015, 17:05
I'm about to fit some AP coilovers. I'm running BBS RCs. I'm aware that you need front spacers to clear struts, and am really not keen on plain spacers so want hubcentric....
I've been offered some 15mm per side, is that too much up front? I believe smallest hubcentric is 11mm, should I shop about for some?

ET38 x 7.5j
I've sized it up and 15mm looks a bit much up front :/

Drop a plumb line down from your arch when you're on a level surface and see how much space you have from tyre to arch. Any less than 15mm and it'll be a no

That's what I did, but had it in mind the front wheels cambered in the more it was lowered, so wasn't sure I was observing it right? I guess you only need 5mm to clear coilover, so may just go plain spacer with long bolts for now... :/

I had 20mm hubcentic on the rear and with Anni's and Eibach springs it was near flush with the arch

15mm upfront will be too much
