Hi
When adjusting the volume for the sound actuator via VCDS can you just set one % volume across the board or can you have it split, say, 5% for normal and 20% for sport?
Thanks

I think what you suggest is possible.
But why bother. I have had mine turned to zero. The Sounaktor is total rubbish IMO. It turns a great car into a headache inducing turbo charged lawn mower. The ridiculous fake noise and vibration from this piece of kit turns a brilliant car into a vile buzz box. With it turned to zero, my drives are now epic and I love the true sound of the R engine and the delightful rasp of the exhausts.

Juicetin: on the units that I have changed, I've only ever seen one setting, so I suspect that the answer is that the single volume setting does both modes.
As per your post and am1w's response, the soundakator seems to divide those that have these units into those that like them and those that hate them!

You can input a % on it, turned my to zero on the R and it sounds miles better, you can actually here the valves opening in the back box now

The OP was asking about allocating different soundaktor levels for different profiles....
-
I thought that there was a sounaktor difference in stock between normal and sport mode - normal was like 20% and sport was 100%.
Definitely read somewhere that it is on in normal mode, but just reduced.
Whether or not you can adjust that, or just set a further reduction across both without changing the ratio, I don't know.

I imagine setting the volume to 50% would put it to 10% on normal and 50% on sport (assuming normal is normally 20% and sport 100%).

The Soundaktuator (module in VCDS: "A9 Struct. Borne Sound") it only has one setting and that is for sport mode. You can't set different values for different profiles.

Thanks very much for that, just what I wanted to know.
