Title: Proactive passenger protection

This strange message appeared on the small screen a few days ago. "Proactive passenger protection function restricted"
I wondered what it meant
Fortunately the car was due for service yesterday and the diagnosis is a seat belt pre tensioner fault requiring a new part to be ordered
Anyone else seen this warning?

Yes, I had one go a few months back on my GTD. Pre-tentioner replaced.

Apparently the dealer had "never heard of that problem before".

I think someone else asked about it on here too.
