Can you lose your map if you disconnect the battery?
My car was left on it's own while I was away for 3 months, so no surprise it didn't start when I tried. I removed the battery for about 24 hours and trickle charged the battery, put it back in, started no problem.
No my car feels like it has no power! It still drives and gets up to speed OK, just not as quick as before. I've checked the obvious, no pipes hanging off, all vac pipes plumbed in...
My cluster is a little broken, ie rev gauge doesn't read correct, would this have an affect?

Do you have a revo map?
Rtech map.
Can't see anything obvious why it isn't working. I'll get it scanned on Monday and see what that says - so strange.
I got 57mpg on a 150mile trip yesterday, so it can't be in that bad shape, just no acceleration!

Definitely wont loose a R-tech map if your battery is dlat/disconnected.

I've had my battery off and disconnected countless times since I've had my R-Tech map on, never lost the map. The only thing you may lose is the adaptions but they will sort themselves over the course of a long and varied drive
